With over a decade of experience and a diverse professional background, Kaitlynn brings a thoughtful, versatile perspective to interior design. Originally from Encinitas, California, her passion for design developed early alongside a love of history—leading her to earn a B.A. in History from UC Santa Barbara. This foundation continues to inform her narrative-driven, intentional approach to design.

Creativity runs deep in Kaitlynn’s family. Influenced by a grandfather who was a respected Southern California architect and a great-grandmother who was an accomplished painter, she developed an early appreciation for form, function, and artistic expression—principles that continue to shape her work today.

Before entering interior design full-time, Kaitlynn built a strong foundation in finance and project management, sharpening the organizational and strategic skills she now brings to complex residential projects. After relocating to Montana, she returned fully to her creative roots and has since designed high-end homes across Montana and beyond. Her work is adaptable and refined, grounded in timeless design with a particular expertise in rustic modern and mountain modern interiors.

Through her studio, Emmeline Interiors, Kaitlynn offers full-service interior design, consulting, and styling services tailored to each client’s needs. Known for her collaborative approach, she works closely with architects, builders, and clients to ensure projects are cohesive from concept through completion.

With close access to trusted construction expertise through her partner, Wesley—whose 20 years of building experience bring clarity and rigor to every project—Emmeline Interiors seamlessly bridges design vision and execution. The result is warm, livable spaces rooted in craftsmanship, collaboration, and lasting beauty.

Named after her daughter, Emmeline Interiors reflects Kaitlynn’s belief in the importance of home, legacy, and thoughtful design that supports real life.
